_{Yay journal skin?}

For my English class, we have to either

1) Turn a chapter / section of a short story into a theater scene, complete with stage directions and everything, or

2) Write our own short story, and make it a theater scene and everything.

So, me being the lazy girl I am, I decide I don't feel like trying to find a decent story and mangling it with stage directions - I'm going to write my own!

Oi, what a mistake. I can't write for shit. So far, my main character is a girl who's a hell of a lot like me, except BETTER, and she's almost exactly what I wish I was. Which is a bad idea - that's exactly what Stephenie Meyer did - she wrote Bella Swan to be like her but better, and we all see what happened to Twilight.

But I'm having a lot of fun, surprisingly. I enjoy writing, as much as I severely need to improve. Having a Poetry class at the same time as an English class is really assisting that.

Anyway. My school's play, which is the theater director (also my English teacher)'s take on A Christmas Carol, starts tomorrow evening. So me mum and I are going to see it. Should be fun, I have a few friends playing the ghosts and such. I'm excited.

And Thanksgiving is next week. WHAT? Where the HELL did November go? No, I'm not complaining at all. I'm so excited for Christmas it's ridiculous, but I'm wondering how November went by so...fast.

One of my friends is attempting to fix my laptop (I love love love having geeky friends ). If he can't...I might try to get a new one for Christmas. I can't live on this computer anymore. It's...a piece of shit. It's slow, and it's physically gross. I can't do it anymore. Half of my homework is from the internet, and what isn't has to be typed up. I can't do it anymore. Of course, if I can manage to somehow get a new one for Christmas, it'll be a wicked cheap one. I don't mind that. I'm a very cheap person.
